Mohamed’s practice focuses on real estate and corporate matters. He brings significant experience from his work as an attorney at a global law firm where he represented Fortune 500 clientele.
In his real estate practice, Mohamed’s experience includes real estate acquisitions and dispositions (both commercial and residential), financing, and leasing transactions. His clients include real estate investors, sellers and buyers as well as financial institutions in standard and complex financing transactions. Additionally, Mohamed assists on the real estate aspects of various corporate mergers and acquisitions.
In his corporate practice, Mohamed advises clients most frequently as outside corporate counsel including issue spotting corporate governance, structure, and liability considerations, negotiation of agreements with third parties and employees, and general advisement.
In his prior work, Mohamed has experience with sophisticated transactions involving international arbitration clauses, governance issues of foreign offshore entities, and the purchase and sale of foreign oil companies. He has developed key “Know Your Client” Foreign Corrupt Practices Act protocols. Additionally, Mohamed has advised clients with offshore formation in the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Mohamed earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from Seton Hall University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Romana brings a wealth of experience, having practiced law for 18 years beginning at prominent national law firms. She focuses on transactional work including corporate and business matters as well as estate planning.
Romana’s corporate practice includes advising start-up companies as well as established businesses on questions of entity selection, corporate governance, drafting and negotiating business agreements, mergers and acquisitions as well as other corporate and commercial arrangements. Her work includes the preparation and negotiation of equity and asset purchases as well as operating and partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, corporate bylaws and other business documentation. Romana has numerous clients in the healthcare space including physicians, pharmacies, labs and other entities that operate in the healthcare arena.
In her estate planning practice, Romana prepares wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other documents with a mindful eye towards tax minimization and efficient achievement of particular client goals. Romana also regularly represents nonprofits and guides clients to achieve 501(c)(3) status.
In her prior work, Romana represented governmental agencies and underwriters with complex financing transactions for nonprofit entities, such as hospitals and schools.
Romana received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
