We have a special expertise in understanding and negotiating ijara and murabaha financing documents for purchasers that choose to pursue shariah-compliant avenues of financing.

We represent landlords and tenants in lease drafting, negotiating and disputes. Our attorneys have significant experience dealing in New Jersey leases and can also effectively represent clients leasing space in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts. We have collectively drafted and reviewed many leases, and can provide lease review services in an efficient and time-sensitive fashion which can be very important to our clients looking to fill or occupy a property quickly. Because leases tend to be landlord-favorable, when we represent tenants, we ensure that we take the time to explain all relevant provisions to our clients so that they understand what they’re signing up for.

LANDLORD / TENANT DISPUTES

Landlord/tenant disputes typically arise when the terms of a lease are not fulfilled. For example, in the event a tenant is late on rent payments or a landlord unlawfully withholds a tenant’s security deposit, a dispute can develop between parties.
